TIP:  Initially, send out promotional emails to your full database of supporters using your existing tools outside of CausePilot (think MailChimp).  You already have this method, your contacts are in a system, and it's easy.  Always include a link to your CausePilot Flight's landing page.


TIP:  Once people are starting to visit your CausePilot Flight, use the Messaging area to communicate with these people.  Schedule email and text message communications to encourage engagement.


TIP:  CausePilot does not send out reminders to pay or notifications that an auction is ending or something is closing.  As the Pilot, you are in control and will decide what is sent out to your contacts and should create these messages via Custom Messaging.
