Can't place their bid


Generally, if a user says they can't bid, there's something wrong with their phone or their browser.  This assumes that they are logged in.


If they aren't logged in, help them get logged in and they should be good to go.


If they are logged in and can't bid, they may have a very old phone, browser, or something broken.


The best strategy is to help them create an account, get logged in, and place their own bids. 


The next best strategy is to just place their bids for them.


Here's how you do that.


  • Go to Components > Auction > Online/Mobile tab
  • Click New Bid button
  • Choose the Item, enter the bidder's number or Lookup User to select, enter the amount they want to bid.


IMPORTANT:  The bid you enter will raise the bid for the item to that amount.  If you enter a bid less than the next incremental bid, it will be rejected.  Encourage the bidder to place their largest bid for the item so they have a better chance of winning.


Add Row if there are additional items they want to bid on.

Click Create Bids to submit and place the bids.


NOTE:  You can not have empty rows so delete any empty rows you may have created before creating the bids.
