1.  Manage Contacts.  CausePilot tracks your Contacts (participants) and their activity within each Flight.

Visitors to your Flight's website can click around, look at everything you are displaying, but they will be asked to create a CausePilot account or login in order to bid, buy, or donate.

NOTE:  Once a user has a CausePilot account, they never need to create another.  They will use the same account for any of your Flights, or any other nonprofit that uses CausePilot.

IMPORTANT:  We recommend promoting your Flight and allowing your visitors to create their own CausePilot account, whenever possible.

2.  Open Contact View.  Click the Contact's last name to open their detailed information.

3.  Bulk Actions.  Download or print the table contents.

4.  Filters.  Filter or sort your Contact list by one of the activities CausePilot tracks.

5.  Search.  Search for a specific Contact.

6.  New Contact.  When it is necessary to create a new Contact, click New Contact and fill out the form.  Check the box "Send invitation to participate email" to ask the new contact to complete their account by creating a password.

Important:  We do not recommend importing or adding Contacts unless absolutely necessary.  Best practice is to ask supporters to visit your flight's landing page and create their own CausePilot account.

7a.  Import Contacts.  We recommend allowing participants in your Flight to create their own CausePilot account whenever possible.  If you create the account, they will not have a password and must follow some basic steps in order to complete the account.

If you have a list of contacts that you'd like to import, you can do so.  Click Import Contacts and follow the directions.  Contact crew@causepilot.com if you need assistance.

7b.  Password Invitation.  If you have added Contacts yourself and have a group of people who have not created a password (incomplete account), they may have difficulty logging in.  Send a Password Invitation to incomplete accounts which asks them to please create their password and provides a link to help them do so.

8.  Tag Filter.  Apply to tags to Contacts in order to group and sort.

9.  Account Status.  The green checkmark represents a Contact that has a completed account, meaning they have created their password.

10.  Send Login Link.  You'll see a Send button next to each Contact.  If a contact is having trouble logging into the site because they have forgotten their password, you can send them a login link that will help them get logged in.  For security reasons, a login link is good for one click within 24 hours only.
