Tickets & Sponsorships

In CausePilot.... Sponsorships = Sponsor Spots on your fundraising flight's website.  That is, visible logos with a link to the sponsor's URL.  They can be purchased independently.  No tickets included.

In CausePilot...Tickets could = Sponsor level which means you want the buyer to buy TICKETS + get a SPONSOR SPOT.  In this case, the sponsor would buy the tickets in the tickets area and CausePilot will automatically create a sponsor spot for them when it is marked paid.

Example of Ticket's page where tickets are purchased.

How do you do this?

1). Create the Sponsorship Level (Components > Sponsorships > Levels tab)

Click New Ad Level, fill out the form.  See Sponsorship Levels for more detailed instructions.

2). Create the Ticket level and ADD-ON the Sponsorship level you created above.  See Ticket Levels for more detailed instructions.

Click "New Ticket Level" button to create the ticket level, which will appear in the table after it's created.

When you create the ticket level, in the right hand side, you'll see Ticket Add-ons.  Choose the Sponsorship level that should be associated with this ticket.  It will automatically be created when this Ticket level is purchased.

NOTE:  The Sponsor Spot will not show up until the ticket is paid for.

OFFLINE SPONSOR SALES:  When you sell a Sponsorship offline (i.e. they send you a check) remember...  Make the purchase for them in TICKETS not Sponsorships.  The Sponsorship Spot will be created automatically when you mark the tickets paid.  In Sponsorships, it will show as "Paid $0.00" because they paid for the sponsor spot via tickets.

TICKETS ONLY:  If you do not want to sell Sponsor Spots independently of tickets, meaning that ALL sponsorships include tickets, then create the Sponsorship levels but in Sponsorships > Setup tab uncheck the box to sell the spots online.  Then, buyers will not be available for purchase sponsorships only through tickets.
