Can't Login


There could be multiple reasons why a user says they can't login.


The first things to check:


Do they actually have an account?  They may think they have an account but maybe they actually don't.  Or, they do but used a different email address when creating it.


IF YES

They have an account with the correct email address (Double check there are no typos.) then send them a login link to help them get logged in.


Go to Contacts > Find the user, click SEND button at the end of the table row or open the contact and go to the Login Link tab to send the login from there.  A login link is an email that provides a quick way for the user to get logged in.  Once logged in, they can create or change their password.


IF NO

They need to create an account or you can create one for them.

•  They create the account.  They can create an account by visiting your flight's landing page.  Click the account icon in the upper right hand corner menu and choose "Create Account".  Follow the directions and they will be logged in after creating their account.


•  You can create the account for them.  Go to Contacts, click New Contact.  Fill out the form and keep the check box active "Send invitation to participate email".  After adding the contact, they should get an email asking them to complete their account by creating a password.


TIP:  If they don't see the email within a few minutes, ask them to check their spam or junk folder and look for an email from noreply@causepilot.com..
