Sometimes you might want to hide your auction catalog while you sell tickets or sponsorships in the early days of your promotions. If you don’t want to show auction items make them inactive. You can do this in bulk by checking the “All” small checkbox in the upper left corner of the table on the Auction Catalog tab. Then click ”Bulk Actions” and change the active status of all items.

Using this method, you will still see the auction button on your flight’s landing page.  To remove the auction button you must deactivate the component, which also makes the component unavailable for continued access in the management area.  

TIP:  Show at least a few auction items in your catalog that will get people excited about your event.   On your landing page, add a notification like “100’s of Great Auction Items Coming Soon!”  Or “Our auction catalog is under construction, check back on April 15th to see all our great auction items!” …or something along those lines so people understand why the catalog is empty or mostly empty as they are buying tickets.
