Lookup User


Any time you see this button, you click it to choose a user.  It may be called Lookup User, Lookup Donor, Lookup Sponsor, etc.  They all do the same thing.


Click Lookup User to open the following modal.



From the modal you can SEARCH for a user, SELECT a user from the list, or CREATE NEW USER (see button at the bottom).


If you click CREATE NEW USER (or Donor in this example), another modal will open.  See example below.



Add the user's email, first name, and last name.  ALWAYS leave the checkbox checked so that the system "Sends invitation to participate email".  You are creating an account for this User and it is not complete until they create their password.  The email sent will ask them to create their password.


In the case of a Donor or Sponsor, you may have the option to also select a Company to associate with the User.  When you do this, the Company name and URL will be used in place of the User's personal name when viewed in the frontend.


Always click Create New User (Donor) to save/submit the information.


The Selected or New User will automatically populate the fields you need.  Make sure to click Grant Permission, Save, Submit, or whatever button may be there to save the changes to the page.
