Paddle Raise

At a live or onsite event, when an auctioneer or host stands up and says "Who will give $1,000 to help fund XYZ?"  People in the audience, who are wiling to give said amount, raise their paddles.

Each paddle has a number on it (bid numbers) and someone writes down all of the numbers that are on the raised paddles.  Those people pay at the end of the event.

With CausePilot, you would enter the Paddle Raises in your software so that there's a record, the bidder gets a notification that they now owe this money, and a way to pay.  Or, if credit cards were required to participate, the administrator simply clicks a button in CausePilot and charges all of the credit cards on file for the paddle raises.
