When you need additional information from your donors than is already asked in their profile, create a question.  You can have one or more questions in your Appeal form.



1.  Add Question.  From the Questions tab, choose Add Question to create a new question.


2.  Edit Question.  Click on the question in the table to open and edit.



3.  Question Text.  Type the question in the field.


4.  Required?  Is the question optional or required to be answered.  To minimize friction, we recommend only requiring a question when it is critical.


5.  Question Type.  Choose the type of answer.


  • Text Box, will all the user to type whatever they want into a word or line field, typically used for 1 word or short sentence answers.
  • Text Area, will allow the user to type whatever they want into a large field, typically used when there will be a long answer.
  • Yes/No, will allow the user to choose Yes or No.


6.  Choices.  When you choose a Question Type of Radio or Select, you will provide the list of possible answers.  One per line.


  • Radio, will allow the user to choose from a list you have provided.  They can choose more than one answer.


  • Select, will allow the user to choose from a list you have provided.  They can choose only one answer.


7.  Question Active?  Check if you want the question to be active and visible in the form to users.


8.  Create Question.  Click to save and submit your question.
