Bid Sheet / Live

When you host a bid sheet or live auctioneer style auction, you will manually enter the winners at the end.  This will accomplish the same results as if they were bidding online.  You are closing each auction manually, which automatically sends the winner a notification that they won, and places the item in pending for payment.  After entering the winning bid, the user will see the item in their checkout cart.

1.  Add Winning Bids.  At the close of an auction, you will add the winning bids, on items that have a Sales Type of Bid Sheet/Live, you can do that here.  Click "Add Winning Bids" button.

        a.  Item Number.  Use the drop-down menu to find the item from the available items. 

TIP:  If you don't see the item you're looking for, it's either inactive or under Sale Type Online/Mobile or Fixed Priced.

        b.  Bidder.  Either enter the user's bidder number, their email address, or click Lookup User to locate the user from the list by name.

        c.  Amount.  Enter the amount of the user's bid.  The bid must be at least the next incremental amount.  However, it can be any amount and the bidding will be raised to that amount.

        d.  Add Row.  If you are entering multiple bids for a user or users, click Add Row, to add another row of fields to enter additional bids.  You can add many rows but none can be left blank.  Delete any blank rows before proceeding.

        e.  Create Bids.  When you click Create Bids, you are submitting those bids and saving.
